Got a new thing to show you guys today! So I was surfing the web the other day, just doing my usual thing, checking out what’s new in the fashion world. You know, window shopping online, haha. And then, BAM! I stumbled upon this beauty – the Fendi Brown Zucchino Mama Forever Baguette Shoulder Bag.
Yeah, it’s a mouthful, but trust me, this bag is worth every syllable. I’ve always been a sucker for a good Fendi bag, ever since that scene in “Sex and the City,” you know the one. And this one, it just screamed “ADD TO CART.”
So I did a little more digging, found out it’s called the “Baguette” because it’s designed to be carried under your arm, like how the French carry their bread. Cute, right? I found that it was designed in 1997. That’s a classic!
But here’s where it got tricky. This bag isn’t exactly new, and the official site had similar ones, but not this exact model. I started hunting it down on resale sites, review platforms, you name it. Scrolled through pages and pages, comparing prices, checking for authenticity.
Finally found one that looked promising! A vintage piece from the 2008 collection, in pretty good condition. The Zucca FF logo pattern was still looking sharp, the hardware wasn’t too scratched up, and the seller had good reviews. I had to be very careful to make sure that the Fendi Zucca canvas was in good shape and not damaged in any way, as it’s the heart of this bag.
Pulled the trigger and ordered it. Waited impatiently for a few days (felt like forever, haha). And then, it arrived! Carefully unwrapped it, and oh boy, it was even better in person. The brown canvas with the printed Zucchino FF logo is just so classic Fendi. It’s got that vintage vibe but still looks so chic.
I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I’m in love. It’s the perfect size for my everyday essentials, and it goes with pretty much everything in my closet. Plus, it’s a conversation starter. People keep asking me where I got it, and I get to tell them the whole story. It is indeed an iconic and timeless design.
