They say it’s all the rage now, the YSL envelope bag. This old lady don’t know much about fancy, but I seen pictures, and it sure looks pretty.
They say it’s like an envelope, you know, like what you put letters in. But this one, oh boy, it ain’t for no letters. It’s for your money and your lipstick, and whatever else them city girls carry. And that YSL logo, right there on the front, big as day, shiny like a new penny. They say it’s a real big deal, the YSL logo. They also say, the original bag is all leather made. But I see many bag, the same style, not leather. And some YSL bags are big, some are small.
Now, this here flagship store YSL bag, they say it’s the real deal. Not some cheap knock-off you get down at the market. This one’s got all the right stitches and the right stuff. But lordy, it costs more than a month’s worth of groceries. This old bag of mine has seen better days, that’s for sure. But it holds my things just fine.

I am not sure she can afford the big one.
